Last week with the support of 70 local businesses who sponsored a bespoke hamper each, we delivered 70 hampers
to the staff at Broomfield Hospital to say thank you for 70 years of care.
It was an amazing day, the staff from porters and admin to nurses and surgeons were overwhelmed by the business community’s generosity.
We were joined by Yvonne Spence, Mayor of Chelmsford, and a representative from Countryside Properties, who were one of the company’s that sponsored the hampers.
We had the privilege of visiting the crew on the Heli Deck, the Neonatal Unit, Maternity ward, Renal ward and Phoenix ward, where designated hampers where handed out to unexpecting recipients. The remainder of the hampers were distributed amongst the other wards and offices of the hospital.
It was no mean feat bringing together 70 businesses, but given the sheer joy and heart-warming experience of the whole campaign we have decided to try and reach out to as many businesses as possible throughout the UK so that we can deliver the same magical experience to a further 69 hospitals around the UK.
